ADVANCE, Mo. -- The American Red Cross continues to provide emergency support to individuals and families affected by the flooding in southern Missouri. As the floodwaters begin to recede and people are able to return to their homes, the support role of the American Red Cross is transitioning to a recovery mode. While the need for shelters to house people has declined, the need for clean up supplies and individual and family assistance continues. To respond to these changing needs the Red Cross has opened a distribution site at the VFW Hall in Advance, which is located at 18762 Highway C.
