RED CROSS ANNOUNCES THREE BLOOD DRIVES

The American Red Cross announced three upcoming blood drives will be held in the area.

On June 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., a blood drive will be held in the parish center and school of St. Joseph Catholic Church, 604 Sycamore, in Scott City.

On June 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., a blood drive will be held in the fitness room of the student recreation center at Southeast Missouri State University. Donors will receive a complimentary T-shirt.

On July 1 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and July 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a blood drive will be held at West Park Mall. Donors will receive a complimentary T-shirt.

Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds and be at least 17 to give blood. Blood can be safely donated every eight weeks.
