Herbert L. and Thelma L. Annis of Century 21 Ashland Realty were among 125 Century 21 brokers, owners and managers who attended a five-day Century 21 International Management Academy in Irvine, Calif.

Richard McKenna, management consultant to Century 21 Real Estate Corp., described the seminar as "an educational academy designed to introduce new affiliated brokers and managers to the advanced marketing tools and services provided by the Century 21 system."

Annis said, "We are extremely impressed with the Century 21 systems and marketing tools that are available through the franchise. We have made a commitment for a major expansion of our real estate marketing group and are presently constructing a new, 4,000-square-foot office building on South Broadview.

"When completed in mid- to late September, it will enable us to more than double our present sales force. We are anticipating a formal grand opening in late September."

Century 21 Real Estate Corp. is an international real estate sales organization with more than 6,000 affiliated, independently owned and operated real estate sales offices throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, France, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Five associates of Classic Real Estate Ltd., Better Homes and Gardens, recently completed the fourth in a series of Better Homes and Gardens Master Classes.

Associates completing the course are Marta Green, Sue Bellis, Sharan Light, Karen Lewis and Terri Semmler.

The course is titled "Negotiating Power: Bringing Buyers and Sellers Together," and was designed to provide Better Homes and Gardens sales associates additional ways to help their sellers and buyers reach agreement and achieve their goals.

Upon completion of all six master classes, these Better Homes and Gardens associates will earn the new Residential Marketing Master (RMM) national designation, the most prestigious educational title awarded by Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Service. Currently there are over 9,000 candidates for the designation from across the United States.
