Hand-dyed fabrics and other works by Pat Reagan-Woodard will be on display this month at Gallery 100.

Reagan-Woodard is the director of the Southeast Missouri State University Museum and an instructor in the art department. This is the first local exhibit of her work in seven years.

An opening reception will be held at Gallery 100 Sunday from 2-4 p.m. The public is invited.

Reagan-Woodard said her work with textiles involves a concern for materials and processes rather than making pictures.

"I enjoy exploring the textures, patterns, colors and materials involved in fiber work," she said.

The exhibit shows weavings, fabric collages and other works that have been created in the past two years. It is called the "Life at the Bottom of the Pool" series.

"These pieces are more related to sculpture than drawing or painting because they involve space," Reagan Woodard said. "As I work through the constructions and weavings the relationship of my life to broader life patterns seems to be played out in the process."

Gallery 100 is located in Boatmen's Bank, 100 Broadway.
