Race for Marble Hill mayor develops

MARBLE HILL, Mo. — Jerome Gaines has filed to run for mayor of Marble Hill in the April 5 election.

He faces opponent Clint Lacy, a former alderman. Current mayor Nick Hendricks is not seeking re-election.

In the first ward, a race exists between Roger Burr and Jackie Jenkins. Incumbent Deborah Acup is not seeking re-election.

In the second ward, only Kevin Robinson so far is seeking the seat to be vacated by incumbent Beverly Johnson, who also is not seeking re-election.
