QUALITY AWARDS WILL BE OFFERED

The Missouri Quality Award will be offered to teams for the first time this year by the Excellence in Missouri Foundation.

The awards are designed to recognize teams throughout the state that have made significant contributions in achieving organizational or community projects and activities.

The team award process is open to teams that have completed tasks, projects or other activities since July 1995, said Eric Myers of Spartech Plastics, 2500 Spartech Drive, Cape Girardeau. Regional winners also qualify for state competition. Some 22 counties are included in Southeast Missouri, including Cape Girardeau, Perry, Bollinger, Scott, Stoddard, Mississippi, New Madrid, Dunklin and New Madrid.
