Puxico woman charged following wreck

A Puxico, Missouri, woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after a wreck west of Scott City early Tuesday, the Dexter Daily Statesman reported. Jessica L. Bourisaw, 27, sustained minor injuries when her 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix ran off Route AB, four miles west of Scott City, and struck a ditch, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The accident occurred at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday. At 2:25 a.m., Bourisaw was charged with driving while intoxicated and with careless and imprudent driving involving an accident. She was later released with a summons to appear in court.
