PTO SETS DATE FOR BAKE SALE

Jackson's Primary Annex Parent Teacher organization has scheduled a bake sale for Oct. 29 at the Jackson Wal-Mart.

The sale is to run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to Debbie Heise, president of the Kindergarten PTO, anyone wishing to donate baked items may do so by bringing them wrapped and ready to sell to the Primary Annex building on Oct. 28 or to the sale site on the morning of Oct. 29.

PTO members are also asking everyone to remember this year's "Breakfast with Santa" event, which is planned for Dec. 3 at the Jackson High School cafeteria from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tickets may be purchased from any PTO officer. The cost is $2.50 in advance and $3 at the door.

"Breakfast with Santa" has been expanded this year to include a prize drawing. Tickets for the drawing will be sold for a $1 donation. Among the prizes are two, 20-inch boys' and girls' bicycles, two child-size recliners, a child's computer desk and chair and two Wal-Mart gift certificates.
