BENTON, Mo. -- Scott County residents must fill out a personal property form and return it to the assessor's office by March 1.
Scott County Assessor Teresa Houchin said all personal property in place as of Jan. 1, including that of businesses, must be reported to her office.
Property owners who don't complete and return the form could be fined from $10 to $100, depending on the value of the property.
