JACKSON -- P. Bruce Dockins has been appointed new chairman of the board of Jackson Exchange Bank and Trust Co.
Josh C. Cox Jr., president and CEO of First Exchange Corp., announced Dockins' appointment last week during a stockholders social hosted by First Exchange Corp. at Elks Lodge here.
Dockins, a life-time resident of Jackson, was initially elected to the bank's board of directors in 1978. He will assume the duties from Leo Kohlfeld, who already is active on the boards of other Exchange banks in the network.
First Exchange Corp., a multibank holding company, includes banks at Jackson, Cape Girardeau, Madison County, and St. Louis.
Dockins has been actively involved in the ownership of McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson since 1959. He and his wife, Donna, reside in Jackson.
