ST. LOUIS Gary Bays has been appointed purchasing warehousing director at the Doe Run Company.

In his new position, he will coordinate all the operation divisions' purchasing and warehousing activities, including the Resource Recycling Division in Boss, Mo., and the Smelting Division in Herculaneum.

He previously was purchasing agent for the firm's Southeast Missouri Mining and Milling Division.

Bays, who lives in Potosi, is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, with a degree in business administration.
