On Wednesday, an observance of poetry and prayer is planned on the campus, beginning at 11:45 p.m. It will be presented by campus ministers, faculty, staff and students in the University Center lobby. Selected poems and prayers concerning the holocaust and messages against oppression will be read and discussed.

The programs remember the killing of more than 12 million Jews, Gypsies, political prisoners, Slavic peoples and "social misfits" by Adolph Nitler's Nazi war machine between 1938 to 1945.

Holocaust remembrance programming is sponsored by the Association of Campus Ministers, Student Life Programs, and the Office of Campus Activities. Both events are free of charge and open to the public. For more information, call 651-2953.
