PROGRAM TO PREVENT HEART, BRAIN ATTACKS

Many risk factors for heart attacks and "brain attacks" (strokes) are similar, although warning signs are different.

St. Francis Medical Center will host a free, three-hour seminar March 25 to help people identify risk factors for heart attacks and strokes and to help them recognize the warning signs of both.

The program will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in the St. Francis Health and Education Centre.

The program includes health screenings, speakers and individual counseling.
