Procter & Gamble is the largest contributor to the local United Way campaign. Their contribution equals 27 percent of the $925,000 campaign goal. Contributions to date total over $833,000 with several large campaigns still not reported. The Area Wide United Way has continued to raise more money each year since they began their efforts in 1954.
