PRO-LIFE GROUP TO SPONSOR WEEKLY PRAYER MEETINGS

The Semo-Lifesavers chapter of Missouri Right to Life will sponsor weekly rosaries at the pro-life crosses on the outer road along Interstate 55, south of Drury Suites.

The first will be Sunday at 3 p.m. and Bishop John Leibrecht of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Catholic Diocese will bless the crosses.

According to a press release from Robert Dean Jr., church activities chairman for the local Knights of Columbus, the group will pray for the unborn, their mothers and fathers, their families and those who promote, assist or perform abortions.
