COLUMBIA -- Missouri Director of Agriculture Charles E. Kruse will issue a "State of the Industry" address during the Missouri Pork Conference and Trade Show which will be held here Feb. 28-Mar. 1.
Kruse will report on the findings of an ad hoc committee which was appointed in early December of 1989 to look into the pork industry.
Kruse will speak Mar. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Executive Center here. His address is part of the 1991 conference and show to be held at the Holiday Inn and the Columbia Expo Center.
Other highlights of the conference will be a 130 exhibits at the show, FFA pork speaking contest, UMC Swine Day, and panel discussions on dealing with environmental challenges.
