Polls open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. today

Today voters will go to the polls to decide municipal and school elections. On the ballot locally is Cape Girardeau's school bond issue worth $40 million. Cape Girardeau will also decide on its next mayor and council members in two wards. There are several issues and races on local ballots in several counties across Southeast Missouri.
