The vehicles were later found Wednesday on Highway 177, near the dealership on Walnut Street, and "teetering" on the edge of a rock quarry near Buzzi Unicem USA, 2524 S. Sprigg St.

A vintage 1970s Ford Mustang was reported stolen from the lot of Monty's Manufactured Homes, 602 S. Kingshighway. It was later located Wednesday with a dented hood, but Hovis did not know exactly where in the Cape Girardeau area it was found.

Police were investigating whether the thefts were related to one another. No suspects are in custody.
