The Scott County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged a Charleston, Missouri, man in connection with six Scott County burglaries.
Larico D. Coleman, 37, faces six counts of burglary, eight counts of receiving stolen property and six counts of second-degree property damage, according to a news release from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
Charleston Department of Public Safety officers pulled over and arrested Coleman on Wednesday after was seen driving away from the scene of a burglary on Route H near Miner, Missouri, according to the release. Items stolen from the home were found in Coleman’s vehicle, the release stated.
Coleman was transferred to Scott County custody, where he gave investigators information on six residential burglaries in Scott County, according to the release.
Several burglaries in two months involved the thefts of flat-screen televisions, according to the release. Some of the stolen property was recovered, but most of it had been sold out of the area, the release stated.
Coleman also admitted to burglaries in Mississippi and New Madrid counties, according to the release.
Coleman’s bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety with holds from Charleston DPS and the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Office.
