SIKESTON, Mo. -- Police are looking for a suspect in a Nov. 30 shooting that wounded two people.
Deidrick L. "DD" Reed, 26, of Charleston, Mo., was charged Tuesday with first-degree assault and armed criminal action in connection with the shooting at the Eagles Club, 219 Trotter St., the Sikeston Department of Public Safety said in a news release Friday.
Officers were near the area when one heard gunshots, the release stated.
As partygoers fled the area, the officers entered the building and found a group of people near a stage, around a man with a gunshot wound to his lower back, the release stated.
Witnesses told police a second victim had been taken to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand, the release stated.
Reed, who was seen with a firearm before the shooting, is considered armed and dangerous, police reported.
Reed pleaded guilty in January 2011 to third-degree domestic assault, online court records show.
He also pleaded guilty in April 2008 to marijuana possession and in November 2010 to receiving stolen property, online court records show.

The department is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to Reed's arrest.
