O'FALLON, Mo. -- Police say a man took taxi to a suburban St. Louis bank before robbing it and fleeing.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported the man entered the Bank of Old Monroe in O'Fallon on Friday morning and gave a teller a note demanding money. The man left with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police say it isn't clear if the man also left in the same taxi.
