One man was arrested and in custody Friday night in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy in Cape Girardeau.
As of 5 p.m., no charges had been filed against the man in custody, who was arrested Thursday night, police Sgt. Barry Hovis said.
The man was being held in connection to the death of Jacob L. Bowers, of 1908 Bloomfield St., who was shot and killed from a single gunshot wound to his torso Wednesday night behind Du-Shell's Furniture, 2103 William St.
