A Cape Girardeau grocery store was robbed Sunday shortly before 6 p.m., and Jackson police are holding a suspect in custody, pending formal charges.Neither police department would not release the suspect's name. He was arrested by Jackson police on a traffic violation, and additional felony charges are pending. Cape Girardeau police received a call just before 6 o'clock that a man had reached into the cash register at the Aldi's grocery store at Kingshighway and Independence and had taken an undetermined amount of cash.
