Published July 23, 1958. C-Jo's Toppy, a rather expensive pet, and her 6-week-old colt were admired by Bob Redwine, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Redwine, 846 Karau Lane. The Redwines purchased Toppy in 1958 for a reported $7,500. The mare was a full sister to champion Shetland pony C-Jo's Topper, which sold for $56,000.

Chaffee residents celebrated their town's golden jubilee in 1955. Elmer Schetter wrote: "I think the man with back to camera and shaking hands with the flag presenter is Tom Holt. The boy at the far right is me (behind the taller man) and the boy next (left) to me I believe is John Ryan."
