Pictures of the Past #25

G.D. Fronabarger left the Missourian boxes and boxes of negatives. What he didn't leave were IDs for them. Pictures of the Past features some of Frony's images we've partially identified. Nov. 8, 1961 Southeast Missourian These seniors will be playing their final football game for Central High School Friday night at Perryville in a battle against Public High there. They are, left to right, Cris Collie, Ralph Furhman, Bill Stone, Floyd King, Bob Hoffman and Paul Ebaugh. (G.D. Fronabarger/Southeast Missourian archive) Bill Stone explained: "The photo was at the end of the 1961 season before the last game against Perryville and shows all the graduating football seniors from the Class of 1962. They are in order left to right, Cris Collie, quarterback; Ralph Fuhrmann, center; yours truly Bill Stone,end; Floyd King, halfback; Bob Hoffman, tackle; and Paul Ebaugh, tackle. The only senior not in the photo was Charlie James, fullback."
