Cord Cooper, a student at Leopold High School, takes part in a team-building exercise Sunday on the first day of the Team Spirit Traffic Safety Leadership Training Conference at Drury Lodge. The statewide program, which is in its 19th year, challenges students to explore knowledge, attitudes and behaviors related to drinking and driving, texting and driving, safety belt use and other youth traffic safety-related issues. The students create action plans to implement in their schools.
