Perryville woman injured in Sunday evening crash

PERRY COUNTY, Mo. - A Perryville woman sustained serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Route K Sunday evening. The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports website reported that at around 6:01 p.m. a 16-year-old female was traveling two-and-a-half miles south of Interstate 55 when the 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse she was driving ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert. The Eclipse received minor damage but the female was transported by ambulance to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
