The child was riding her bicycle in the 500 block of Robb Street when a four-door, dark gray passenger vehicle pulled alongside her, according to a news release from Perryville Police Cpl. Jeri Cain.

The child said the rear passenger window featured pink, white and black polka dots, the release stated.

The vehicle’s driver spoke through the passenger window, saying the girl’s mother had sent him to pick her up, according to the release. The girl was close to home, and she knew her mother would not have sent someone to pick her up, the release stated.
