PERRY COUNTY HOSPITAL TO OPEN CLINIC OCT. 22

PERRYVILLE -- The new Ophthalmology Clinic at Perry County Memorial Hospital will open Oct. 22, at the hospital's medical office building.

Hours will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. each Tuesday.

Dr. Gregg J. Berdy, board certified ophthalmologist from St. Louis, will be coming to Perryville on a weekly basis.

Berdy received his medical degree at St. Louis University. He also completed a yearlong fellowship with the department of ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston.

Berdy is in private practice in St. Louis and is associated with Missouri Baptist Hospital.

His major clinical interests are in corneal and external ocular disease, dry eye conditions, and allergic and immune diseases of the conjunctival and anterior segment along with cataracts and other eye conditions.
