On Monday, Perry County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call involving a jiujitsu hold, stomping prescription medication into the mud and a sawed-off shotgun barrel.
An arrest warrant was issued for Eric S. Lindsay, 24, of Old Appleton on Tuesday. He faces charges of second-degree domestic assault, felony stealing of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a weapon and misdemeanor theft.
Perry County sheriff's deputy Blane Kohm went at 2:52 p.m. Monday to the 400 block of Apple Creek Lane in Old Appleton, where Lindsay called officers to keep the peace at his home, Kohm wrote in a probable-cause statement.
Lindsay's live-in girlfriend said they had a disagreement at 9:30 a.m., and Lindsay had choked her using a jiujitsu hold, then stole her prescription medication, Kohm wrote. Lindsay denied choking his girlfriend but admitted to the deputy he used a jiujitsu hold to push her away from him, according the report.
Another woman said she saw Lindsay empty pills into the mud near the rear of his car and stomp them, Kohm wrote. Kohm wrote he found some of the pills in the mud. Lindsay said he had no recollection of stomping the pills in the mud.
The victim also said she saw Lindsay stash something in a red barrel. Inside that barrel, Kohm found the sawed-off end of a shotgun, according to the report.
On Tuesday, Kohm spoke to Lindsay's father, who showed him the rest of the shotgun that was seized into evidence.
Lindsay's bond was set at $25,000.
