DUDLEY, Mo. — A Bloomfield, Missouri, pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle late Saturday in Stoddard County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 10:19 p.m. on U.S. 60 two miles east of Dudley when a vehicle driven by Tommy R. Winn, 66, of Cadiz, Kentucky, struck pedestrian Jamie D. Sifford, 38, who was walking in the driving lane of the highway.
Sifford was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:55 p.m. by acting Stoddard County deputy coroner Greg Mathis and taken to Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Winn’s passenger, Linda K. Winn, 66, of Cadiz suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Southeast Health of Stoddard County in Dexter.
