Pedestrian dies on I-70 in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS (AP) — A 27-year-old St. Louis man is dead after being struck and killed by a vehicle on Interstate 70. The incident happened about 3;30 a.m. Sunday. The victim is Konrad Whitt, who was found in the westbound lanes of the interstate. Police say the driver of the vehicle that struck him fled the scene. So far, there are no suspects...
ST. LOUIS (AP) — A 27-year-old St. Louis man is dead after being struck and killed by a vehicle on Interstate 70.
The incident happened about 3;30 a.m. Sunday. The victim is Konrad Whitt, who was found in the westbound lanes of the interstate. Police say the driver of the vehicle that struck him fled the scene. So far, there are no suspects.
The westbound lanes were closed for about three hours while an accident reconstruction team investigated.
