MALDEN -- A Poplar Bluff woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon west of Malden.Amy Harris, 23, of Poplar Bluff died Monday when her vehicle ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree and burned.The accident occurred eight miles west of Malden on Route H, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.Harris' body was taken to Twin Rivers Morgue in Kennett. She was pronounced dead by the Dunklin County coroner. It was the 70th fatality this year in Troop E, which covers most of Southeast Missouri.
