Route B in Cape Girardeau and Perry counties will be reduced to one lane with an 11-foot width restriction while contractor crews mill and resurface the roadway. This section of road is from the Perryville, Mo., city limits to Highway 72. Weather permitting, the milling will take place Wednesday. Resurfacing will be done Thursday through Oct. 29 between the Perryville city limits and Interstate 55, and on Oct. 31 through Nov. 6 between I-55 and Highway 72. All work will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
