SIKESTON, Mo. -- Southbound Interstate 55 in Perry County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction next week while Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. The first section of road is between mile markers 139 and 135, and the second is between mile markers 119 and 113. Weather permitting, the work will be done from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
