Troop E of the Missouri Highway Patrol will hold another in a series of town hall meetings on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Madison County Courthouse at Fredericktown.
Patrol spokesman, Sgt. Brent Davis, said, "The meeting will be an opportunity for the people of Madison County to meet with the Troop E commanding officer, Capt. Morris Patrick, and his staff, and troopers assigned to the Madison County zone.
"We will present a short program to acquaint the people of Madison County with the inner workings of the highway patrol, including personnel who work in the Commercial Driver's License Division, Division of Drug and Crime Control, Motor Vehicle Inspections, and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement. Cpl. Jim Pemberton and his drug dog, Ben, will also attend the meeting, if they are available."
This is the third of 13 town hall meetings the patrol has scheduled within the troop. Other meetings will be held April 18, at the Woodland High School near Marble Hill; May 5 at the Scott County Courthouse in Benton; and May 9 at the Charleston Chamber of Commerce building.
