Patrol reports one killed, two injured in accident

A Doniphan, Mo., man died early Sunday morning when the vehicle he was driving ran off the road and overturned. Phillip Holland, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in Ripley County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Holland was driving on Highway 21, 11 miles north of Doniphan. Two teenage passengers received moderate injuries from the accident. Candie Woodruff, 17, of Doniphan, was flown by helicopter and Shalechia Hodge, 17, of Doniphan, was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.
