Lexington Avenue between Chesapeake Avenue and Perryville Road will be closed for two to three weeks starting around Wednesday, April 24.
According to an email from the City of Cape Girardeau, the road will be closed because of construction. The city encourages using caution around the work zones and the path of the detour.
“Contractors will be in communication with residents along the affected route to facilitate their access,” the email stated.
