Two Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department classes in cheerleader/pom pom and creative wood will begin this week.
The eight-week cheerleading and pom pom class starts today. The fee for the classes, which will be held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30, is $4 for residents and $5 for non-residents.
An eight-week class "creative wood" class begins today at the A.C. Brase Arena Building. It will be held Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7 and a available to children ages 9 to 13. The fee for the class is $10 for residents and $11 for non-residents.
The class will teach house assembly and decoration skills.
