Parents Without Partners September events

• From 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, general meeting/orientation will be held at Riverside Regional Library, Union and Adams streets, Jackson. A scrapbooking program will be presented. The meeting is free and open to the public.
• From 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays in September, line dance lessons at Silver Saddles Country & Western Club, 330 S. Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau. Lessons are open to the public. There is a nominal cost.

* From 7 to 10 p.m. Sept. 8, an evening of cards and other games at Riverside Regional Library. The event is free and open to the public.

* 1 p.m. Sept. 10, "Fair Day" at the SEMO District Fair. Cost is free to members' children and/or two grandchildren up to age 18. Meet at the Arena Building.

* From 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 15, board/orientation meeting at Riverside Regional Library. The meeting is free and open to the public.

* Noon Sept. 16, parent activity to visit the Tower Rock Winery. Meet at Jackson D-Mart. The trip is free and open to the public.

* From 8 p.m. to midnight Sept. 23, singles dance sponsored by PWP at the VFW Hall in Cape Girardeau. The dance is open to the public with music by Cross Winds. Theme is "Remember When." Celebrate the 35th birthday of the Cape Chapter 519 of PWP. Cost is discounted for members.

* 1:30 p.m. Sept. 24, family activity. Meet at Cape Cine 14. Cost is Dutch treat and the event is open to the public.
