- PWP will meet at 11 a.m. July 7 at the Cape Regional Airport to attend the Cape Girardeau Regional Air Festival.
- On July 4 PWP will hold an amigo dinner to welcome new members. The meeting will be at a Jackson member's home where the Jackson fireworks display can be seen. Cost to members is a covered dish or a $5 donation to cover cost of main dish; new members free. Please do not bring personal fireworks.
- PWP will hold a general meeting/orientation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. July 6 at Riverside Regional Library on Union and Adams streets in Jackson. There is no cost. It is open to the public. Doug Johnson from Main Street Fitness Center will present a program on Tae Kwan Do: Self Defense. Come, bring a guest or prospective member and stay to play cards.
- PWP will attend Line Dance Lessons from 7 to 9 p.m. July 11, 18 and 25 at Eagles Aerie 3775, 321 N. Spring Ave. in Cape Girardeau. Beginner lessons are at 6 p.m. The lessons are open to the public. There is a cost.
- PWP will host card mania, an evening of cards and other games, from 7 to 10 p.m. July 13 at Riverside Regional Library. The event is free and open to the public.
- PWP will participate in the "Mother Earth Wholistic Fair," a health fair, farmers market and unique gardening gifts display, at 10 a.m. July 14 at the Cape VFW Hall on Kingshighway.
- PWP will hold a board/orientation meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. July 20 at Riverside Regional Library. The meeting is free and open to the public. Bring a guest or prospective member and stay to play cards.
- A singles dance sponsored by PWP will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight July 21 at the VFW Hall in Cape Girardeau. The dance is open to the public. Theme is summer time dance. Discounted price for members.
