A panel of political-science and history professors at Southeast Missouri State University will discuss "The Future of the Clinton Presidency" today.

The Common Hour discussion will be held from noon to 1:15 p.m. at Crisp Hall Auditorium.

The panel will feature Dr. Peter Bergerson, who chairs the political science department; and assistant professors of political science Dr. Brian Smentkowski and Dr. Michael Levy.

"The feelings out there are so strong about this," Bergerson said. "The folks in Washington, D.C., have whipped themselves into a lather over this."

Bergerson said panel members will discuss the Clinton scandal and the actions that could occur, including censure, reprimand or impeachment. The panelists will discuss the possible political consequences of the scandal as it relates to the fall elections.

The panelists also will take questions from the audience.
