PAIN MANAGEMENT TOPIC OF WEDNESDAY PROGRAM

Dr. Donald Hinnant, director of the St. Francis Pain Management Center, will give a presentation on pain management on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Conference Room B in the Education Center at St. Francis Medical Center.

Dr. Hinnant, a clinical psychologist, believes pain can be managed through an interdisciplinary approach. His aggressive reconditioning of people with chronic and acute pain disorders includes physical therapy, education, pain management, functional restoration and therapeutic exercises.

The program, which is sponsored by the Greater Illinois-Missouri Paralytic Support Group, is free and open to the public.
