Pachyderms to toast vets at Thursday meeting

The Southeast Missouri Pachyderms will honor veterans at their November meeting Thursday at Dexter Bar-B-Que, 236 S. Broadview St. in Cape Girardeau.

Cape Girardeau City Councilman Wayne Bowen and Cape Girardeau County Presiding Commissioner Clint Tracy will speak about their military careers.

As a salute to local veterans, the club will be providing dinner for those who have served in the military.

The program is open to the public. The group gathers at 6 p.m. to eat and a brief business meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. The program begins at 7 p.m.
