Outlet mall sees change in ownership

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Sikeston Factory Outlet Stores has a new owner.

The store changed ownership Thursday when Sikeston Outlet Mall LLC purchased the mall from its original developer, Boyer Construction Co., which began construction of the mall in 1993.

The new owner is headquartered in St. Louis and will operate the mall in association with Meridian Asset Management LLC.

"We are thrilled with the new ownership group," said Lisa Neumeyer, who has been the mall's manager for the past 10 years and will continue her role as manager along with the existing staff.

Meridian provides nationwide real estate management, banking, financial services and staffing for a broad range of real estate projects.

Neumeyer said the additional financial resources, marketing expertise and real estate knowledge brought by the Meridian team will help position the Sikeston Factory Outlet Stores to better meet its customers' needs while expanding the services it provides to the community.
