BENTON, Mo. -- An Oran, Mo., man sustained serious injuries Sunday afternoon when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving. Raymond G. Brown, 36, was traveling east on Route E in Scott County when the throttle of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle stuck. The stuck throttle caused him to run the vehicle into a ditch. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. near Benton. Brown was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
