ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ON 61 OVERPASS

Southbound traffic on U.S. 61 at the Interstate 55 overpass in South Cape Girardeau has been reduced to one-lane traffic to make deck repairs.

The repairs are being made on the Business Loop U.S. 61-1-55 overpass at mile-marker 91.

Repairs are expected to be completed some time Friday, weather permitting, said Charlotte Butler, Missouri Department of Transportation customer service spokesperson.

The work zone is marked with signs, and motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
