The Southeast Missourian asked children what they knew about Santa Claus.

Adam Parker: "Santa is really fast. He puts magic powder on his reindeer to make them fly."

Kristin Barrett: "Santa has a list of good boys and girls, and he checks it before he leaves."

Lindsey Pingel: "Santa leaves the sleigh parked up on the house, and then he goes into the house with the presents."

Megan Krantz: "The reindeer can fly because their moms and dads taught them how. Santa likes chocolate chip cookies and milk."

Erika Bening: "Santa gets around so fast because the reindeer stay outside while he goes into the house with the presents."

Joe Ziegler: "The reindeer eat magic corn so they can fly. Santa eats cookies everywhere. That's why he has a big belly."
