The Southeast Missourian asked people if they were paying much attention to the O.J. Simpson trial, and if they thought it should be televised.
Roger Mersel:
I'm not really paying that much attention. As far as it being televised, I think the facts need to stand as is, without the media interfering like they are. Too much publicity has been given to the trial already.
Ron Mouser:
I'm not paying attention to the trial at all, and I don't think it should be televised. If O.J. isn't guilty the media might have already portrayed him as guilty. I think the media could televise the results but not all the other personal stuff in O.J.'s life.
Joan Lerch
I don't pay attention to the trial at all. I don't see anything wrong with televising the trial; however, I don't see any point in it either.
Dr. Jai Dahiya
I'm not paying very much attention to the trial, but I do think people deserve to know what's going on.
Ceudet Unel
I'm paying attention to the trial. I'm interested in the trial from a law standpoint because I'm a pre-law major. As far as it being televised, I think the public deserves to know the facts as they are in the courtroom, not how the media may portray them.
