The Southeast Missourian asked seniors at Cape Girardeau Central High School what they will miss about school after graduation.
Chad Abernathy:
"I'll miss my friends, because I'm going to Nashville Auto Diesel College in Tennessee. I'll miss teachers too, because they have been pretty helpful, especially my auto body teacher. He's crazy."
Amanda Fischer:
"The hardest part will be missing my friends, because I'm going away to school. I've liked a lot of my teachers, and I'll miss them."
Chris McNutt:
"I'll miss Mr. Lukens for keeping the school in tip-top shape. He busts every kid for anything they do. He's great, but I wouldn't want his job."
Vince Collier:
"I guess I'll miss all the freedom and fun that comes with being a kid who doesn't have any adult responsibilities. It will be tough leaving all my friends behind, but I'm looking forward to college."
Michelle Pena:
I guess it would be not seeing my friends and some of the teachers. A lot of my friends will be leaving, but we will try to stay in touch."
